Auguste LEROUX
Auguste LEROUX fit ses études chez Bonnat, et obtint le Grand Prix de Rome en 1894.
Il exposa à Paris, au Salon des Artistes Français, dont il devint membre en 1904. Il y obtint une médaille de deuxième classe en 1898, et de bronze en 1900 dans le cadre de l’Exposition Universelle, à Paris.
Il illustra par ailleurs de nombreux ouvrages, parmi lesquels “Eugénie Grandet” de Balzac, “Mémoires” de Casanova de Seingalt, “Sapho” dAlphonse Daudet, “L’abesse de Castro” de Stendhal, etc…
