Georges-Frédéric RÖTIG
Peintre d’animaux, peintre à la gouache, aquarelliste. Il fut l’élève de Benjamin Constant, Jules Lefebvre et Jean Paul Laurens à l’école des beaux-arts de Paris. Il exposa à Paris au Salon des Artistes Français à partir de 1894, dont il fut membre sociétaire hors concours. Il reçut une médaille en 1902 et 1904, le prix Rosa Bonheur en 1913. Il peint les animaux dans leur vie quotidienne.
