Alexis KREYDER
Né en Alsace en 1839, Alexis Kreÿder fut élève de Fuchs et de Laville. Il s’installe à Paris en 1859 et dès 1863, il débute au Salon des Artistes Français. Il a alors vingt-quatre ans, et y participera durant les trois décennies suivantes.
Il obtint une première médaille au Salon de 1867, une médaille de deuxième classe en 1884, une médaille d’argent à l’exposition universelle de 1900. Enfin, il fut fait Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur en 1889.
